In our ongoing efforts to support our local community, MDSi is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new internship program. Working closely with the faculty of Forsyth County School's "Work-based Learning Program", MDSi was able to find the perfect candidate for one of our newly opened roles so far. We are excited about being able to partake in our local students’ education to ensure their future success.
"I'm excited to learn about the marketing industry and how the marketing team works here at MDSi. I'm planning on receiving my undergrad in Marketing and think that the real-world experience can help me both outside of the classroom and inside."
Emily Conner, Marketing Intern and Lambert High School Student
Interns at MDSi will experience a "hands on" approach to learning different skills and projects within their desired industry. Emily Conner works closely with MDSi's Marketing Coordinators and manages initiatives involving graphic design creation, digital campaigns, and research/analysis of potential customers for lead generation. Emily will also be able to shadow SME’s in various departments to learn how our business works holistically.
The best part about the program is that we learn from Emily too! With her background in inventory management and graphic design, Emily has been able to share best practices for our MDSi promotional product store and social media advertising.
MDSi is excited to embark in this new opportunity and enthusiastic to see what both our interns and employees will learn! We are hopeful that our interns will become long time employees with us.
